I recently started replaying Baldur's Gate II as a solo character (F/M/T) and find it challenging enough that it is interesting (though dealing with a vast inventory is one pain to deal with). One thing I was wondering is how often you can play with your repuation. For example, in the tavern in the docks, you could kill everyone with one cloudwand burst, thus lowering your rep pretty quick. Now when you go outside, amish guards will spawn with the cowled wizards, who you can smoke, pick up their items, and repeat. Eventually you can buy your rep back up and kill more people in another unuseful place that you don't rest in or buy anything from.

How long can you keep doing this? Besides the experience points and loot, will you eventually tarnish your stay in the fair city?

well if you keep on doing that you will eventually run out of places to kill, loot and pillage. But I dont believe you would do run out your stay. Then again I havent tried it before. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

True, but I could also trim down the populations in Trademeet and Umar Hills!

You'll run out of quests pretty quickly though.

I have already completed the quests in those areas for my solo character!

just be careful sometimes some quest cant be triggered unless you are in a specific chapter. Good luck with your game ;)
