In the cave that the lich (whose name escapes me currently) is in, the one who wants the man's soul in return for his daughter's, he's in Amkethran, you probably know who I'm talking about, there are some doors up ladders with traps. I turned all of the tables, killed the monsters, and walked through all the doors, but there is still one locked one that you can't unlock. I presume you need a key? Is it found in Amkethran, somewhere else, or a part of the game that they didn't fisnish off, like so many other things?

Yes, there's a key. It's the alternative route into Balthazar's monestary. Someone in Amkethran has it.

Except that this will come much later in the game. Unless you finished all the other quests there is no way you can get the key, so go keep on playing and when the story will require you to enter the monastery then only will you be able to get the key.

You don't even need to open that door though. An old friend can help you into the monastery instead.
