I was wondering if anybody knows where a npc goes if you kick them out or don't even accept them. I decided that I can use Jaheira and Khalid now, but I have no idea where they are. It is even possible to find someone after they are turned down. If BG2 you could tell them where to go or stay "here". No option for that in BG1.

Anybody have any ideas where to find these two.

Thanks

Well..it depends on the NPC. Most of them stay where they are and wait for some other nice party to take them in ;) Which NPC's were you having trouble with? For Khalid and Jaheira...why wouldn't you take them in?! For most of the game they are pretty good..if you say no to them I think they just stay in the same spot until you say yes. Almost all of them wait in the same spot until you come back. Although..some do go back to where you found them. If you say no to Gerrick (say no..he sucks) than he goes into the Red Sheaf Inn...right next to where he is standing. If you go in there he is not there...but if you go back out POOF! there he is. Kagain goes back to his shop when u dump him. Most of them stay in the same spot.

However, if the party member is unhappy with your reputation, if you kick them out, they'll never come back.

Well, that is probably it. I got tired of hearing them complain about my rep, and I wanted minsc, dynaheir, and xan. Dynaheir and Xan are really good specialists. Minsc kicks butt. He wiped the floor with Shar-teel. She gave in after two hits. I did take Garrick because of the bard "lore" factor. SO, Jaheira is gone for good. Well, crap.
Stupid me I got rid of Branwen for the same reason, too much complaining. Well, I have a lot of healing potions anyway.

Does anybody know why Minsc won't use two swords?
He is a ranger.

Give Minsc the same crappy armour and weapon that Shar-teel has when you meet her and try it again, otherwise, it's not a fair match-up. I have made Edwin beat Shar-teel in the past The only reason he was able to win was he used better equipment than her. In a fair fight, Shar would win. You see, she simply doesn't have time to bleed.
