I have done this a million times and everytime I can not figure it out.

I find Tirdir

I find red coat monk man

I follow him into Building

His friends kill him

I follow them out of building

I kill both of them (celestial fury!)

I free rich lady

I read note from some guy named Welther looking to give ransom to the Kidnappers for the Rich Ladies release, it say "meet me in the slums at night infront of the C.C"

I look, look, look some more. NOTHING

Even when i did not kill the two kidnappers, nothing happened...and i figured i would get rewarded for this by Brega in the Gov. DIstrict but no???

There has to be more to this quest, Spoil me!

Would YOU pay ransom for a person who walks through your front door, safe and sound...? Think about it for a minute, and you'll probably smack yourself in the forehead. You can't nicely profit from someone else's misfortune, can you?

or, i shoudl ATLEAST be able to collect from Brega on something...unless they allow people to be buried alive these days in Athkatla

Sadly for you, she does make it back. Assuming you untie her, at least. I'm not sure why heavily armed parties always seem to get jumped, but helpless noblewomen aren't faced with that problem, though.

I seriously have been working on this quest for years, and i can never make it work....bug?

Think you can let the woman go and collect on the ransom? Think again. If you want to collect on the ransom, she must remain kidnapped... Meaning, don't untie her! Take the ransom note, and go pretend you're the kidnapper. Capice?

I want the 30 seconds of my life it took to read all that back.
