Is there some mod to remove that annoying disintegrate-destroys-loot thingy? It's annoying and I don't think it's really necessary.

Man, you want all of the power & none of the side effects? Come on, man... it's called "Disintegrate", which means to "seperate into fragments".

I'd try the Finger of Death, or the Death Spell. Same effect, no disintegration.

You could probably remove the 'destroy equipment' string from the spell using IEEP. That probably isn't the name of the actual string though - look for something along those lines in the spell strings though.

Eh, I never use Disintegrate anyway. What I'm more concerned about is the disintegration effect caused by cold elemental spells.

I suppose I could try some editor or other. Removing bits sound pretty simple.
