Hey guys!

I'm new here, so be gentle :D Well, the thing is I installed BG II with ToB addon and then started playing a new game from the beginning (Shadows of Amn). Now I wonder if I can still apply those patches found on Baldurdash site? Do I have to install only those avaliable for ToB? I'm a bit confused right now as which fix pack to install...

now that you have installed ToB, you should install the official ToB patch and then the ToB Fixpack

and after official patch install only the ToB fixpack, not the SoA one as well.

So guys if I'm correct; even if I'm playing from the beginning of the game, it's OK to apply the ToB fixpack? On Baldurdash I caught something about not installing the fixpack if you're playing from the very beginning of the game (SoA). But I could be mistaken...

when you have ToB installed with the official patches, use the baldurdash TOB patch. otherwise, you'll end up a mess. doesn't matter if you've just started SoA, are struggling thru Watcher's Keep or are power-gaming thru ToB...
