Ok, so I've just beat SoA. Last time I beat it, I didn't have ToB (don't think it was released at that time )

Anyway a few questions.

1) Straight from defeating Irenicus in Hell, I have the award ceremony etc...then I get an opening movie (assuming its the ToB movie - and please, I think I missed the point of this movie, so let me know) stating that 5 Children Of Bhaal are killing everyone trying to assume the Blood Throne of Bhaal? That correct? Then I'm just dumped in the clearing and am just about to talk to the heads. Doesn't tell you much eh?

Anyway, the question. If I start an expansion only game, I don't get this movie. I just start in the clearing with the heads. Why?

2) When I start an expansion only game, either importing from Save Game or Char file, I can only start with one character. Yet, if I play straight through from SoA, my whole party of 6 is there. Sounds a bit unfair to me, so I'm wondering why?

3) I was told that when you start ToB, you have no items that you gained in SoA. So why do I have absolutely everything?

Cheers.

1) The movie plays in the beginning of the game... Before the title screen. It's an intro movie, like the one in BG ("I will be the last. And YOU will go first!")

2) You get a chance to 'reclaim' party members.

3) When you start a new game (eg, no importing a char, they're brand new) you get a bunch of SoA goodies. They're just not YOUR goodies, and you don't get the best goodies (CF, SOTM, etc). But if you import a char, you get everything. Capice?

no, I believe this is a bug that is fixed by the ToB patch or the ToB fixpack. They're supposed to come with you from the start.

Well, Lord, that would be true, if Lav hadn't stated he was starting a game, not continuing one with an existing party.

Well, I am continuing on from my SoA game.

I just started up an expansion only game to see what happened. And I came up with these three points.

Cheers.
