I seem to be stuck. The locations for the two remaining Bhaalspawn now are on my map but when i try and leave town to get to them I get that the locations are inaccessible. I am almost frustrtated enough to go an do watchers keep, but my plan was to get the last Pantaloon, make the item and then really blast my way through the rest of the saga.

So any ideas as to why I can't get to old Dragon Bhaalspawn's lair.

Are you fully patched?

Hmmm....for the heck of it, try traveling back to the Oasis, and then backtrack to the lairs from there.

Hey, it might work.

The last one worked, but you have to leave the oasis from the right hand side: where you enter if you just came from the monastery. Thats why I couldn't find it, now I am in dragon territory getting butt kicked by a young Green. I even hit him with red dragon breath and he didn't even flinch.

Try using 'Lower Resistance' (the heart symbol thats half filled in) on him. That should weaken him alittle.

Also if you have any of the dragon slaying weapons then use them on him.

I find that a big stick works wonders.

I seem to have this bug quite often in my game, as well. My solution has been to travel to Watcher's Keep and then try to travel to the previously unaccessible areas. It makes for a long walk, but since you can always rest in the pocket plane I reckon that it doesn't make much of a difference.

Maybe the bug is an idiosyncratic thing related to which side of the board you enter and/or exit from; I think there's only one side of the map open on Watcher's Keep so that would make sense.

As for Draconis (that young green dragon you spoke of), enjoy the battle. It will be fought long and hard, with many reloads most likely. I think he's one of the toughest single battles in the entire trilogy and almost always requires an adjustment from the usual brute force approach that works for most of the other baddies in TOB.

Throw 3 lower resistances into a spell trigger. Then throw some spells at him. You may need another lower resistance after that still, however. Greater malison will help as well. Throw some ADHW at him.

I was going to try that though not in the same way. I was going to hit him with 2 lower resistance, then a disentegrate. The only problem is we never got that far. We started the battle, my PC cast acidic cloud to knock out the summons; Aerie cast true sight making him appear and then as we were breaking down his remaining barriers the computer bombed. We never got him changing to dragon form.
