It was too easy! I had a party of mostly tanks, and I played a sorcerer. The only thing that gave me a slight problem was the rooms of dead and wild magic in Watchers Keep, and even those were not too bad with all the tanks I had in my party.

Try again, this time with Tactics mod and Ascension mod installed.

Well try to play without Robe of Vecna and Amulet of Power, without Project Image and summons. And no reloads.

I can't find that thread... A wonderfully written storylet about why you shouldn't play with a sorc. I did a search, but no dice. I'm sure someone else knows what I'm talking about and can find it.

I can't find it either. I remember that his Solo Sorc actually "killed Firkraag by accident" (he'd forgotten what he had stored in his Sequencer), but a search on those terms reveals nothing.

See, me too. It always eludes me.
By the way, it was a she. |
You're both right. That was one of the best narratives I've ever read on IW forum. Great imagery, nice prose, and a parable for those who seek great power.
I finally found the link. Enjoy, and thanks to Andraste for the story... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...=023697#000007 |
By the way, regarding the thread I just linked to: Dundee's point at the end of the thread is important -- that we should take advantage of the solo sorcerer's great power not just to kill, but to find ways to make the fights interesting. Kind of makes sense, doesn't it?
