I was just wandering about the two items that can be imported with your character from BGI and TOSC. I know the golden pantaloons are one but what is the other? And also, how is each item used in BGII. Thanks for any help given.

I know there is bug that can help you keep all your BG1 equipment. Or you can download a mod that lets you keep it.

Maybe also Balduran's shield and butter knife? One time I read a thread with a ton of items that would transfer. You don't have them in your inventory, but they are scattered around Irenecius's dungeon replacing the standard items.

The Helm of Balduran is still there, either you begin a new game, or you import your character from BG1.

Like Moon-Child said the Helm of Balduran is always in Irenicus' Dungeon, whether you import your char from BG1/TotSC or not. Later in the game you'll find more stuff you'll recognize from BG1/TotSC, but like the Helm it's always there, regardless of importing characters.

Balduran's Shield IIRC was never even in BG1/TotSC to begin with, so logically it doesn't import. You can buy it somewhere in SoA provided you have ToB installed.

The only item that I know of other than the Golden Pantaloons which imports with your character is the Chain Mail +3 from TotSC.

Um...J'aran i know that you can buy the Shield of Balduran even if you don't have ToB. It doesn't matter. It's either on the Colector's Edition CD that came with BG 2 SoA, or you can get it when you download and install the BG2 SoA official patch or was it Baldurdash fix pack?

Yeah, I know. But since this is the Throne of Bhaal forum, I just figured that he owns the expansion, so he has no need to download a patch or fixpack or anything just for the bonus merchants.
