In what way is he invulnerable? Regenerates too fast? Or did the programmers take the easy way out and make the seige camp inaccessable until the quest was done? I feel certain there are powergamers here that tried to kill him without destroying his heart. Can it be done?

i don't think it's regeneration. Then i imagine you could kill him while timestop. I just think he's imune to every spell and 100% resistance to everything.

Maybe i'll try it out. it could be fun [img]smile.gif[/img]

Perhaps this was fixed with a patch or a fixpack... But I'm pretty sure that you can do him in the same way you can kill Arkanis the Uber.

I thought you could hurt him but not kill him.

When your intelligence drops below 3 you die from mindflayer attacks regardless of your HP status. It's 100% legit, but I think players would moan a bit if the mobs started doing this.

Ahh, didden't even consider atribute drain. But i remeber it being fixed by the patch.

I agree with it beeing legit since mindflayers use it against you but still it feels wrong. I used it a couple of times with my sorcerer on the thougher oponents but it never felt right.

EDIT: It sure isen't legit when you use it against enemies who are suposed to be unkillable! but thats not what you meant mad=dog, right?

Correction. When any of your stats drops to 0 (or lower) you die, and also cannot be Resurrected if the stat loss was permanent.

you can die if your charisma drops to zero? sounds alot like high school.

Yep, sure can. There is a certain rod you can find that has a side effect of a random chance to lower charisma. Give it to one of your characters and have them do a bunch of fighting with it... :D Make sure you save before doing this experiment (unless you just wanted to be rid of them... ;) ).

If you wear the Ring of Charisma and start beating people with the Rod of Terror your Charisma will wrap around to 25.
