I'm playing an Inquisitor, so I can use missile weapons (but I prefer not to).

Spear or halberds, depending on my character. Putting points in one-handed and any good weapons categories that aren't used by others in your party is a good idea also.

Don't worry, all my custom pallys are cavaliers, so I can't use missile weapons anyway. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

When I played a Paladin(Undead Hunter) I gave him these points:

++ Two-handed sword
++ Flail
++ Crossbow

Later I gave him points in Bastard Swords so he can use a very good one found in TOB. It's IMO a good idea to give your PC a few points in a blunt weapon for things like clay golems, some undead etc.

Two handed Sword,Bastard Sword,Flail.


Then again, it depends on my character.

Two handed, Two hand style, single weapon style, longsword/katana (daystar,Celestial (need I go on?))
