Ok, finally I had a decent party all lined up and ready to go, I do a quest that offers reputation bonus, and EDWIN LEAVES!! I was so pissed because he took the stuff he was wearing also. Now I am searching for somebody else to get. I got Quayle but he sucks and I plan to dump him soon. :mad:

If you need a Mage who doesn't leave when your rep gets too high, I'd say go with Dynaheir or Xan.

That do you mean "Quayle Sucks"

He's got both cleric and mage spells

and as an illusionist he has got access to both evocation and summoning spells - something I miss when using either Xan or Dynaheir

Besides if you got TotSC installed he can reach lvl 7 in both his classes

Not to mention that Quayle has a great personality!

OK, given that you didn't do the obvious thing and re-load the game so as to keep Edwin, which you can do if you maintain your reputation at a value of 18 or lower, then I say stick with Quayle. Like Kathrine I like his crazy personality and Illusionist is one of my favourite schools of magic. Since he is a weak character keep him out of harms way by casting Mirror Image and Blur, etc. Plus he gets a Shield and a Helmet as well. Go on give the small guy a chance!

Since I last posted this I have been playing BG...and I realized how fun Quayle is :D He keeps talking to Khalid..uhh..in an interesting way. Its so funny watching them talk to eachother sometimes I fall out of my chair laughing :rolleyes: When Edwin left me quite a while ago (Chapter 3) I was mad..but now I'm happy because I got a small little gnome with a charisma of 4 [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yeah, I think there's a support group for that. ;)
