In the tree south of the Friendly Arm Inn there is supposed to be a Ring of Wizardry. I have searched for a solid 30 minutes and haven't found it yet. Yes, I do know exactly which tree its supposed to be in but nothing is there. At the level I'm at I could seriously use a ring like that. I believe that this hidden item might have been removed or everybody was lieing in the first place ;) If you know where it is, and I'm looking in the wrong spot please tell me.

I think that ring goes away when you install TOSC. I have never seen it.

Nope - it still there after installing TotSC

From what I've read in the past, the easter eggs are present under the following conditions:
BG- unpatched
BG/TOSC- unpatched
BG/TOSC- patched

They are not present under the following conditions:
BG- patched
BG/TOSC- when you started the game with a patched BG and then installed TOSC. You have to start a fresh game for them to be present.

If you've met all the conditions for the items to be there and they still aren't there, you have to do the Squirrel Goddess quest. Ask Six of Spades about that as he is the expert in that field.

i no wot ring ur on bout i had it b 4 but then on a different game i went 4 it and it was not there i dont understand

My game is BG/ToSC (patched) and I can confirm that the Ring at the FAI is where it's supposed to be, as my mage (Dynaheir) now wears it! :D

It can be a tad difficult to find it, as the "secret location" is very small, only a few pixels across. Use the "L" key to help locate the item.

Like I said, my game is a *patched* BG/ToSC and the ring *is* there.
