Argh, I just went to remem and I needed 13 days of sleep. The idea of spending so long is disturbing.
I went CE so I have 2 minor drains, so Im guessing itd be ALOT less longer had I had cure lights.
Should I just edit some onto my char and replace the drains? add some and never use them, just for the sake of not spending years in a dungeon resting?

The total resting period may not have anything to do with your spells.

If you have the rest till healed option on then you will reset until all your HP's are full again.

So if your HP's are low then you will take a long time to rest if you have that option on.

If you turn it off you will only rest for 8 hours usually.

what's it matter? there's no real diffrence between finishing the game in 900 day's than there is in finishing it in 9.

If you've a party get a cleric to learn some heal spells, if your solo then just drink healing potion's because you'll find plenty.

TheGlow 05-03-2004 09:53 PM

Nod. I always rest till healed. I guess it would be more my while to disable and spew some drains and vampiric touches around. Thanx.

As for taking 900 days, I just feel dirty. The idea, of taking years to get out of a little dungeon is sickening

As a solo sorc, you're probably selling suits of armor and scrolls left and right.

Maybe you should invest in a potion case or two and carry around healing potions?

Vampiric Touch is an excellent healing spell for wizard solo's. I don't know if it suitable for your limited spelllist as it is level 3 with other nice spells.
Apart from that Illumina is 100% correct. Healing and healing potions are dirt cheap from Temples. Nothing to worry about.
Furthermore I don't think Drains are cast before resting like other healing spells as they need a target. If you have some minor summons at your dispossal you can always summon a few gnolls or somesuch and use LMD/VT on them. I even think you can use them on your own Simulacrum/Mislead image.

And on containers and doors
don't think it was meant too be like that though.

Nod, I got 2 touches from being evil and I edited 3 curelights onto myself which are solely for resting. so all seems smooth.
I hax0red myself a bag of holding, since I wouldnt have so many people to split up the goods.
But forgot it comes with a slew of magical equip. I forgot, you dont get bags till ToB right? So I should be safe in taking out all the stuff it had and throwing it on the floor, and finding a new set right?
And there really is no difference between those 10+ bags of holding, right? I put in the infinite bag of holding glitch so I should be good.
As for draining containers, does that technically mean i can put an item on the floor and cast it on the floor, since that sorta works like a container?

Oh come now, there's too much cheating going on here, and it's completely unneeded. How is it that you don't have a legit Bag of Holding at this point? Did you import from midway through SoA? At any rate, you'll find a Bag of Holding shortly after you leave Saradush for the first time.

TheGlow 05-04-2004 05:00 PM

No bags at this point?
Good sir, Im just exiting Irenicus' dungeon.
Only cheating I did was slap me a bag of holding and for aesthetic purposes, some innate cure lights, which I never use in battle or out. Simply to make me feel better when I sleep at night.
