Okay here's the problem. I opened the 2nd area in my pocket plane and defeated my replica. From what i read later on it was suppose to change and the lava become a healing pool. I killed them but it's still lava. Will this effect me being able to finish the game or will i have to start over since i don't have a save file of before then. And if i have to start over can i import the same group and keep my romances and what not intact? Or do i have to start from scratch back where i first loaded into ToB from SoA? Any ideas or answers would be appriciated. Thanks.

Lava is based on two things:
a)what you say
b)your aligment

You don't need to start all over. It was just a little bonus to help you out.
