Can someone tell me what the XP cap is. Sorry if this has been asked before but i'm starting to play this game again after months of it just sitting there and I can't find the manual to find out for myself.

8mio total (added together from all classes XP if multi or dualclass) is the standard limit. (e.g. 3750000+4250000)
XP cap removers get you as high as 15mio for each class

btw will that make you a level 100 character?

nope 15mio will make you lvl50 but the cap removers allow 15mio each class so you could get up to a lvl 50/50/50 with a F/M/T for example

And there is no need for a level 50/50/50 character, even as a solo. IMHO, the xp cap set by ToB is high enough for even a solo character.

I just hope SoS is still clinging to his idea about the ending sequence of Shadows of Amn, and them mages, because you'll be toast if you try that one out. Good riddance, because I think the usage of Time Stop alone is just cheese already.
