OK like I am probably the stupidest person in the baldurs gate game world
but I have tried the first test in the abyss and cant finish or seem to get past....I keep killing all the bad guys but they just keep coming. Maybe I am
just forgetting something or hell I am clueless..........<what a stupido.

Are you fully patched up? The enemies should get harder, then eventually you should win, and a script should kick in. It sounds like you have a bug. Get Baldurdash and the latest patch, then see if it happens.
