As the title states I just finished SoA and amnow starting ToB, I have some questions and any answers would be appreciated.

1) Skimming through the board here I have noticed a few people mention carrying over items from SoA to ToB for item upgrades. I finshed ToB with 2 beligriel (spelling) gems (the ones that look like blue moons and aren't stackable) Should I transfer those over in favor of some weaponry? Seems like the ToB weapons that folks get when starting are generally +3.
2) When i summoned up my favorite guys from SoA to get my old party back, i was appalled to see that everyone is level 12 again! argh not to mention my PC mage was down to like level 17 or so.. would this be avoided had I installed ToB when starting SoA?
3) I hold grudges, Sarevok sounds like he's a good strong party member, but he and I haven't gotten along all the way up to this point, do I HAVE to give him my soul to leave? I don't wanna show any mercy to him nor do I wanna do him any favors. ( reminds me of the movie the Princess Bride.. "My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die."

Thanks in advance for the help

Beljuril Gems are only used in SoA, to upgrade a particular item. There is no point bringing them into ToB.

The best way to start ToB is to transit from SoA. Load up your SoA Final Save and fight Jon Irenicus again. When you win, you automatically go to ToB with everything intact.

You can choose to have Imoen to part with part of her soul... this leads to several humorous dialogue if you bring Sarevock in.

You don't give him your soul, you (or Imoen) give him a little bit - enough to bring him back to life. And, yes, you must resurrect him to leave.

The talk about the new party member is a rather large spoiler (Dundee, are you OK ;) ?) It is at the very beggining, I admit, but people would still want to found it themselves.

Well... considering Sarevock appears right after the first fight, I generally consider it a non-spoiler in the ToB Forum. It will be a different matter in the SoA Forum of course.

Therefore, non-spoiler.
