Well .. that was a rather strange ending for me

I was going to try and get her down to atleast Badly Injured whereafter my Assasin would backstab her with his fists. Was a little worried about the Units though :D
However, this time .. for no apparent reason .. all the units turned to goo !!

Weird stuff ..

Anywayz, I went back to report to pontifex, hoping to get a chance to fight the .. erh, spaniard .. but he just said something about being very gratefull and him going to see his angel before the angels arrived.

So ... anyone know what exactly I was doing those +/- 7 hours ?
( Story behind the ritual, background on Pontifex / the girl .. why did pontifex want us to disrupt that what he tried to protect first etc. )

Plz fill me in, I feel used :D

Pontifex loves the priestess, and want you to stop her to do something that she thinks to be good, but is actually evil.

But then why did *he* of all persons organise the defenses of the place ?
He only found out it was evil later on ?
Why are there angels coming to get his love ?
Is he an evil ..erh, spaniard .. or is he a good one ?

Auhhh. The most interesting and important part of Ritual mod is the conversation with Pontifex. And you skipped it.
Yes, he organized the defences, and was a part of the order. Soon after, he found out that the Ritual was an evil thing, and tried to talk the high priestess out of it. He failed, because she was charmed (she thought that it is good). Now he wants you to do his dirty work. Why doesn't he do it himself? This is a school example of a quest, which is exactly the thing the maker of the mod (Weimer) had in mind. Such things are obvious in his dialog ("Surely you've realized that almost everyone who hires you has an ulterior motive and intends to betray you"; "this is not the usual 'go across town, pick up some trinket and bring it back to me'"; references to various NPCs; etc).

Well .. i didnt skip it, but I was still kinda hoping for the betrayal part ...
He seemed rather gratefull, not at all ambushy

Is Pontifex good or evil?

Hmmm... well, Pontefix IS Good... in his own Evil way.
