I killed Demog several times. ALthough in some games i used cheats to speed things up, i never used cheats on Demogorgon. ANd here is where the strange thing appears. I loaded the battle many times (he beated me up many times) but many times i just woake up with him dead. I casted all kind of spells (that cool priest spell, level 8 or 9, a powerful storm - sorry, i didn't play BG 2 in 1/22 year, so don't remember the names of spells and items). That hapened 2 -3 times. Can he be afected by instant death (by the way i had no mods added at that time)!

Nope.
He is immuned to anything of lvl 5 and lower.
Also, no insta-death stuff on him IIRC,.. so no desintegrating, petrification, Imprisonment, finger of death, etc.

i'm just getting ready to face Demo' any good suggestions?

It would help greatly if we knew who is in your party, and what level they are.

On another note, a minor correction. Demogorgan is immuned to spells of level six and lower.

Improved or not?

Probably not much help but I slaughtered him pretty quickly. Keldorn, my Barbarian and Jeherie(greater earth elemental form) all with greater whirlwind attacked while Nalia and jan kept his protections down and Anomen had a little sit down and watched. Must of only taken about 20 seconds.

Is your group one you've had is SOA?. If not your going to be at a disadvantage.
