I was just thinking the other day, when I did the scenes before the Temple of Bhaal. Now, Viconia is always my paladin's Romance, so the demon always produces the semblance of Valas, Vickey's brother, who was turned into a drider for rescuing her. I got to wondering what it would be for the other Romances. Does the Demon produce Khalid to confound Jaheira? How about Aerie, how does he torment her?

You had to figure Khalid, because Jaheira is obviously conflicted about him. Aerie, I don't know all that well.

Is Valas the same Valas as from IWD2?

It's Aerie's mother, because Aerie got herself caught by humans when trying to rescue one. (or something like it). Her mother thinks Aerie has abandoned her.

I haven't finished IWDII yet, so I dunno. Is he a Drider? A Drow?
