Do the level 20+ high level abilities apply to all of your group or just your own character?.

Well if you level up then only u get this abilty.But if someone in your party get HLA then it is just his.I mean if you are a Fighter and u get GWA and only u have it.Then after fight Sarevok Gets HLA=>GWA he will have it to.

It's kinda like selecting spells for a sorcerer.

Some HLA's are skills that you can access from the special abilities button. Others function continously (like the ever-so-cheesy Use any item ability). Some are spells that will appear in your spell/prayer book.

Those of the first category can be taken multiple times giving you more uses per day.

All party members get their respective HLAs when they reach high enough level.
