I just DL'd the darkest day from file planet. I finaly broke down and gave them their 6 bucks. Now that I have it , what can I expect from it? I know some of you have played through it already , so any hints or suggestions would be helpfull.

You should have asked before downloading. A six bucks thrown through a window...

I resisted as long as I could!! It was logging on to fileplanet at 4 AM and still haveing a 45 minuet wait just to begin the download that finaly did me in :( :( I tried at various times of the day for a bout a week prior and got no where. I wanted it for the new classes and so that I could have Xzar and Shar-Teel back in my party again. I have already noticed some improvements, like Druids dont suck anymore, but I am still curious as to what else is there.

Last time I played it was more than a year ago... And I had to give up because of the terrible amount of bugs. But I assume most of them are eliminated by now.

What I implied is that TDD is unplayable (at least it was when me and Grojlach played it). Now it may be partially playable, but I still wouldn't download it for free (let alone for $6).
I hope you'll be happy with it. Make sure to fully patch it.
