I've just got ToB (YES!!) and I'm wondering what new NPC's there are. Is there any more paladins?

To further answer the original question, there is only 1 NPC. It is the aforementioned Sarevok.

Ta. Can you get anymore in SoA when you install ToB cos I heard of an assasain in the Copper Cornet.?

No.

Installing ToB adds one NPC, and one NPC alone. There's no new Assassin in the Copper Coronet.

You may be thinking of The Darkest Day, as the abbreviations TDD and ToB can be easy to mix up. TDD adds several new NPCs, at least one of which is an Assassin, who (for all I know) might be found in the Copper Coronet.
