I was playing around with a new character, trying to give him certain Innate abilities (ok, it's cheesy, but I wanted to see how fast I could run through the whole game ), using ShadowKeeper. I try to add Innate abilities under the Innate tab, but when I Add Spell, then click on the 'Mem +' button, it says "<CHARNAME> has reached the maximum number of spells memorizable for this level".
I tried going to the Memorization tab, scrolling down to Innate (which are limited to Level 1 apparently?), & increasing that, but I still get that message. What am I doing wrong here? How do I give a character more Innate Abilities (for instance, Shapechange Earth Elemental or Kai)? Thanks, Imrahil |
Open Shadowkeeper.
Go to Settings Menu, and pick Spells. In the Memorized Spells section, either increase the Memorized Limit, or clear the V from the Use Limit box. That should do the trick. |
I personally find "summon the infernal host" a spell that gets you through the game pretty quik. The infernal hosts you get are pretty powerfull, which is no wonder if you know who uses it ;)

This is a SHADOWKEEPER limitation. You can put up 100+ innate memorizable spells but it will not let you go above 12 or so.
I took 1 call infernal host. If you've got ascension it is THE best summon spell. (and even without ascension the baddies you summon could solo the game) If you put 12 of these spells you will have 70+ monsters because it doesn't take into account the summon limit |
