So i know that this shall be old as the chat room itself, but did anyone else figure out that the axe of undying [spelling] actually heals your party....example....everytime you place the axe in your characters ready slot, the weapon slot that is, it heals 3 hps....and you just keep clicking on it removing and adding, and it keeps healing infinetly...great during battles and the like, no more healing potions....what a wonderful axe.

Err, what? Why have I not heard of this axe before? I am sure Korgan would have loved it....

Its an Axe you find in ToB: The Axe of the Unyielding.
Placing and replacing objects that heal you in their slot is a know exploit/bug. I believe the baldurdash-patch fixes it, but I'm not sure.

Baldurdash cant fix things like that, the problems in the way the game code handles HP bonuses. Anything that improves HP directly will have this effect in an unpatched game, items that acheive a HP bonus through CON will work in all versions (AFAIK)

I'm pretty sure baldurdash fixes the equip/unequip exploit of some items, though.

Thanks for the welcome, ya Uther was the man, so much better then that simpleton Arthur, lol...Anyhow i have played the baldur's gate line since it first came out, but lost all my old copies then my Gf bought me Baldurs one, the expansion, icewinddale, heart of winter, Shadows, and throne...hey it was a good week lol...and now things drove me nuts, I joined because the ravager was wasting my hiny, but i stayed for the conversation (lol) but some things annoy me to no end, like is there only one heart of the dammed? and i hate the fact i missed the equalizer...I never found the blade, i know where it is now, but so many little maddening things....like that lol...and as soon as i beat this silly game, i am moving onb to ice wind dale...but till then, again thanks for the welcome.

My paladin uses axe of unyielding (or is it yielding?) + 5 anyway and the Crom Feyr.....do you guys 'n' girls think that the Carsomyr + 5 is better? I've heard that Carsomyr can get even better! Is this true?

The Carsomyr can be upgraded to +6 by Cespenar if you have the right ingredients

I do believe you need the Eye of Tyr to upgrade Carsomyr.
