Right, I've seen this before, "DAN- You cannot initiate dialog with Ribald becuase Ribald appears busy" (And I know he isn't), and I'm sure you have, but in order for Ascension to work I need to do a complete re-install, going as far as deleting BGII-SOA the folder, so Black Isle folder was completely empty.

So the patch I downloaded to correct this is gone, so can someone please give me a link. I can't seem to find a patch that corrects this.

If anyone could look up the individual that introduced this bug to BG2, kindly give him a swift kick for me.

Anyhow, this bug is fixed with the official ToB patch - www.bioware.com .

BTW - if you use the weiDU version of ascension, it can be installed on top of pretty much any version of ToB.

I know, but when I went into the pocket plane, the planar door wouldn't let me out, and the quests in the plane wouldn't start, so I uninstalled but didn't delete the folder, and it still did it. So I deleted the folder.

Anyway, that's fixed, and thanks for the patch......
