sorry for not repling quickly i havent been able to get multyplayer to work on bg1 i have tried manyatime with no luck but i have bg2+bg2throne of bahaal and i have ice wind dale i avent got round to testing them seriosly but if you want to try figure them out im on grenich mean time

ok but you will have to give instructions on how to do it i havent tried it on ice wind dale yet or on bg2 i also have problems with bg1 frezeing up on multyplayer options

Do you guys have both patches it used to freeze on me until I got them.

Also when it freezes are you playing people from the UK? Because I live in the UK but have never been able to play any british people, only foreign people(Thats why I play on Gamespy).

P.S the patches are:

Both these patches are needed for multiplayer games.

One more thing I don't know about playing through an IP address but on Gamespy for some reason you couldn't play online if you had Tales of the sword coast installed.

well thats all I can think about, unless you are willing to give gamespy a try, its easy enough to use, its free and you don't need to mess about with IP addresses plus there are many experienced online BG players there who should be willing to help you if problems persist.

i dont have patches it still frezesup on me thats why i offered to play on bg2 or icewind dale

Like all the rest of these guys, Ive never been able to mp BG---I'm fully patched, updated and band-aids dutifully applied in the appropriate spots [img]smile.gif[/img] . However, I *have* mped IWD/HoW (this past weekend, in fact) several times with no trouble. Personally I think it's some sort of strange bug with BG. Shame, too. (Perhaps to do with the differing set-up system of the party?)
