During the last fight, .. with the 5 Bhaal-spawn ...
You allready have the power to walk around in Time-stop ( like demogorgon ), for a limited time. Now, F.e. Sendai is all Buffed up with protections and such, and Casts Time-stop .. You initiate your power and have a Time-stop, together with sendai. Two questions: 1. Is every swing still a hit, even if you attack Sendai, or will the computer roll a dice for Sendai ? 2. Will her protections ( stoneskin, spelltrap etc. ) work in time-stop ? ( If a time-stopped mage moves he allways " steps out " of his protections ) Thx for any replies |
I believe (but could be wrong), that since "Time Stop" just simulates everybody else in the room freezing in time (except for the caster) as is, that all protection magic of your opponent is still valid. Not too sure about the "too hit" roll, since technically they are not defending themselves, and hypothetically, your character has enough time to attack an un-armored spot.

The Auto-Hit factor is due to the way the Timestop spell works - it doesn't really stops time, but it paralyzes everybody, no save, no MR check, and it delays spell effects. Any Celestial Fury fan will tell you that when someone is paralyzed, every blow is an Auto-Hit. Now, because Sendai is the caster, she is not paralyzed, so no auto-hits for you. :( But it's just a guess. ;) Quote:
