Right now i'm really mad at the stupid ascension download. I went to gamespy to download the stupid thing and i first had to fill out some paperwork to even be able to see what I was allowed to download. Then I found what I was looking for and I found out that I had to wait OVER AN HOUR for a spot to download it behind over 500 other people. So I waited patiently for over an hour and my spot finally comes up... Then, an error pops up saying that my time has expired. [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img] So now I'm left wondering, Is there a better way to download the Ascension mode? Any help would be, well... helpful. :D

I downloaded WeiDu, and I have troubles with it.

I'm currently on to Westly Weimer (In a nice way, not arguing, he's being helpful! :D ) about it, and I'm trying to fix it!

Is there a way to tell fairly early on in TOB if Ascension is working or not? I'm not sure if I installed it correctly or not. It said that it could not find the dialog.tlk file??? :confused:

There's not a thing wrong with WeiDU Ascension. If it's not installing for you, chances are you're not unzipping it with Use Folder Names activated.

If it can't find dialog.tlk, it means you've unzipped to the wrong place. Unzip to your BG2 main directory.

The Classic version means:

- A longer download
- More bugs and AI cheats
- Overwriting virtually all existing mods
