I just downloaded Ascension and ran the program. I used the "Folder Names" and everything it told me to but it says it can't find Dialog.tlk when I run the install! Help me please!

I assume you have downloaded the Weidu version. When you extract the files, extract all of them to the following directory,

Thanks for the help, but it didn't help! I extracted them to the Override folder with Folder Names and without, and to that path name with and without Folder Names, and it still didn't work though. Any solutions!

Remove everything you unzipped to the override folder. This is actualy impossible if you used no folders, so youll probly need to re-install from scratch.

Actualy, you might *just* get away with leaving it there, but im fairly certain youve broken your origial install. This is one reason why I recommend taking a backup of dialogue.tlk and the override folder before fooling with modes. IE was never intended to be modded, and things can go very wrong.

You unzip the mod to the BG2 directory itself, and it creates an "ascension" folder within the BG2 directory. The setup program expects to be run from BG2/ascension, not Bg2/override/ascension. This is because weiDU mods are more sophisticated than the hacks that are used to install a normal mod.

I assume you have the latest WinZip.

Anyway, here is a screenshot, Click Here. The next step is to click the <font color="cyan">Extract</font> button, followed by running the file called, <font color="white">Setup-Ascension.exe</font>, that is found in the following directory, <font color="white">C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA</font>.

I entered the Pocket Plane, talked to Solar, gave Sarevok my soul. But, I go into the challenge, and nothing happens. I check the map and there are lava flows, but there are these six "Wheel" type things. No matter what I do, it does nothing! Help!

PS: Ascension is great already! Imoen has Cure Serious Wounds and Cause Serious Wounds!

Did you patch your game fully before you installed Ascension?

Yeah, I got the latest ToB patch!

Well... you can try a full reinstall. Backup your savefiles, uninstall everything and delete the leftover folders, then reinstall again in the following sequence.

1) SoA
2) ToB
3) ToB Official Patch
4) Baldurdash ToB Fixpack
5) Ascension
