I have just started DSotSC, and I have just arrived in Beregost.
My party is the usual at this point, Myself (Human Necro, M) Khalid Jaheria Xzar Montoran Imoen Now the thing is this: I have completed BG:TotSC twice before (never Dark Side), and I want to get a new party together. I thought about having two mages, myself and another, but that would limit my tank options (anyone got an opinion on this??)... Also, I'd like to have a bard and a true druid in this time....(Garrick never lasted, Jaheria has but she fighter also). So I thought Eldoth and Faldorn. But then tanks....Ajantis and Shar-Teel?? I dunno, because Eldoth has a partner doesn't he?(Dont know, never used him myself) But then there is all the new NPC's....so what the hell shud I do. Now note: I do not want ANY spoilers into anything, I just want a few opinions on party makeup and possible people to be in....*note*- dont be so precise that I follow your advice..just leave it open ended!! [ 03-06-2002: Message edited by: Lavindathar ]
|
There's a human fighter down south of Beregost that you can get right now. After you do the Nashkil mines you can get a bard and thief/illusionist. The rest of the NPC's don't show up until after the Cloakwood mines and you need some of them for the quests. I usually run a core of 5 so I can rotate the quest NPC's in and out. Kagain and Minsc are a good pair of tanks if your playing neutral to evil. Don't mix Kagain and Ajantis though. The only true Druid is Faladorn. Go evil, get Viconia.
