I am just about to kick Irenicus butt.
All I have to do before is free some freaks from prison cells. ;) I have even killed the warder (I do not know his name in English - I am playing Polish version of the game). Anyway, I mean the guy who keeps the "key" to those bloody cells. But... ...there is no key on the ground! I cannot find the "key" anywhere else. There seem to be no "levers'n'stuff" which could open the doors. And when I enter Irenicus room without doing so, this bastard has an unfair advantage! ;) Help! The previous saved game will transport me back some 9 hours... Damn, I should have bribe the guy! :) MC_Maras |
Hmmm, sorry!
This should have been posted in BGII: SoA, not here... ...but I hope for your help anyway! |
Most defintely a bug .. since he's supposed to drop it. Has happened before though.
1. Do you have ToB ? , if so .. use "Tab" to see any objects on the ground. 2. The key might be under a door .. you wont be able to pick it up or see it that way .. or worse, its in a wall ( happens ). I'll see what the CLUAConsole code for the key is, so you can warp it in if all else fails. If you dont know what CLUAConsole is : http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/bald...2/cheats.shtml Look for - Cheats built into the game - oh, and ehr .. i couldnt find the code for the key :( sorry But someone else 'll probably post it .. i hope |
Thanks,
I have ToB, used TAB, no result... I'll search for that CLUAConsole code or... ...teleport 9 hours into the past (my last "save") and than bribe the guy (I hope he is "willing" to help me) :) Anyway, thanks again! |
You need high CHA to persuade the guy properly. If you have the Ring of Human of Influence, you can use it now.

Ok, people, thanks for help.
I've replayed the last few hours of my game, and then tried to kill that warder one more time. And this time just after I defeated him, my party was automatically transported to Irenicus (of course via meeting with prisoners). No "key" was needed. So this was a clear bug (the warder's death should "trigger" the battle with Irenicus, while that did not happen). Now everything is ok. :) |
