First off, the title of your thread is a spoiler, so please edit it.

As to your query, I will need to know your party make-up and their levels.

to further what Dundee is saying, specifics of party make-up would help including kits, specialist mages, etc...

one quick hint if you can use it to avoid giving out all the info: if you have gotten to Melissan it should be a cake walk, you might be extending yourself too much on the first couple of combats, hold a little in reserve and use summons of high level creatures to help yourself out if possible....otherwise this is the last "combat" so hold nothing in reserve after the third power supply has been cut off.

Have as many Wish spells as possible memorized, and during the lulls in combat keep your fingers crossed, cast them, and PRAY that you get "Make it as if my entire party has rested an entire night and rememorized all their spells." The beauty of that is, you also rememorize Wish.
Nifty little bug: If you want to be a filthy dirty cheater and exploit what is probably a bug, you don't need to cut off the power supply that's being guarded.. Use Dimension Door to get to one of the other "islands" and you can actually shut off the flow from there. But I don't recommend it.
