On my Lawful Good group I have been working on getting up to the 20 reputation level (so that I can get that nifty price break)...Right now I am on 19.

I have Jaheira and Branwen in my party (both True Neutral)...Once I got to 19, both started complaining...

What is going to be the result of this? Will it effect their combat effectiveness? Will they leave the group eventually (or worse, attack me)? Should I start looking to change them out for Good aligned NPC's?

No, you don't have to kick them out of your group. They will only complain but neither fight you nor leave the group. AFAIK, the complaining has no effect on their stats.

Neutral Chars Dont Break. Good Chars Break Below Somthing Like 3. Evil Chars Break Above About 16. Its In The BG Instructions Near The Back. Theres A Table.

Jaheira´s complaining gets on my nerves. "better leadership might help".. yeah sure, killing and backstabbing people just to get our reputation lower would be a great idea!

I´ve had Jaheira leading the group, but of course it doesn´t help much.

The only thing their grumbling affects is the temperment of the person behind the keyboard! :D I've been known to give NPCs sex-change operations (with the handy-dandy girdle of masc/fem) or strip them naked and send them scouting (if they *really* are unbearable!). Ajantis makes a lovely little warrior babe and Jaheira--well, there's really not much difference whether she's male or female....even Khalid can't seem to tell the difference .

I'd have a rep of about 30 (paladin) if there
weren't an upper limit, and Branwen is still around.
She usually chooses just after a colossal fight where
I've laid out half a dozen badass NPCs, or just after
I've saved the life of a child, to announce,
"Our actions are not those of warrior-born!"

Warning, though: If you take Branwen out of the party
while your rep is that high (19 or 20, I think) she'll
make a nasty remark about how you're no more honorable than
the Loki-spawn she left behind. And she won't join you again.

Guess there's only one version of Unhappy, and the game
doesn't distinguish between Rep too high and Rep too low.

Cheers,
Rikter
