Everytime I talk to him he just tells me I don't have anything he can use, so I was just wondering, what is it exactly that he needs to make his weapons and armors?

(for those of you who don't know which one I mean, it's the guy in the same house as Lazarus Librarius)

He is part of the Pantaloon Secret Quest. You need the Golden Pantaloon from BG1, the Silver Pantaloon from SoA, and finally, the Bronze Pantaloon in ToB.

Give him all three and he will craft you a very cute armour along with some weapons.
