Do Ranger-Clerics get the high level ability Tracking? My main character is a Ranger-Cleric and I was wondering if you get the class specific abilties?
Tracking isn't all that good. Its pretty much a waste of points.
Thanks anyway Dreamer128.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
If you're multi-class - then yes
You get specials from both classes - but as Dreamen128 said - tracking is a waste of points. |
Well, you can access BOTH High-Level-Ability pools, IF your character is Multiclassed. If you're Dual-classed, you can only choose from the Ability pool of the class that's currently gaining levels--AND that active class has to be above 3 million EXP.

Hey now, tracking worked wonders for me. Especially because the ranger could hide, and because I was using a ranger-cleric he would hide find the thing I was looking for (Creature) and then woop some rear on it. I think they work great, and tracking isnt a waiste of time, its just very hard to use and you must think VERY creativly to use it.

When you have played the game countless times, know the exact spawning spot of all the enemies, what kind of enemies and how they attack among others... Tracking kind of becomes redundant.
true but to someone who's going through it for the first or second time and wants to RP their character, and not powergame (ie greater deathblows and GWW's) it can be a refreshing change of pace, even if TOB does almost force you to powergame to survive.

Cleric rangers are good, but I miss my swords and bows. as far as I can make out, clerics dont use ANY blade, or sharp object, only dull ones like hammers and maces...
