hey people i'm brand new to this forum. now i don't know if this has been asked before but i couldn't find it in any other posts: do you have to "finish" a romance in SoA (as in go through all the dialogues) in order to "restart" it in ToB or not? In SoA i was having a romance with viconia and i got to the point where she said she wouldn't serve my character as if she were a drow male. then i finished the game, imported my party into ToB and then nothing else happened. any suggestions?

Yes you do. If you don't finish all the romance dialogues in SoA then the romance comes to a rather abrupt halt in ToB, which sucks.

thanks for the welcoming, guys. ok now i know at least why it doesn't work but i have another question. can you finish off a romance on hell? that's the ONLY save that i have left from SoA and i was wondering if it would make any difference whether i leave my computer on overnight or not.

I never finished Jaheria's romance in SOA (couldn't be bothered) and now I'm in TOB, she won't shut up. So... I guess they still do progress.

in SoA i had a VERY romantic time with AERIE- if you know what i'm sayin- she "showed me herself" but in ToB she wasn't interested :(

In order to have a successful romance with Aerie, you need to be chivalrous with her and decline to partake in pre-marital hanky-panky. This applies to the first time, and when the second time comes, then 'things' happen as there is no other alternative given to you. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hmm, I never tried the Aerie romance but doesn't ToB result in a little Bhaalspawnlet? [img]graemlins/baby.gif[/img]

Yes, it does. However, I have never personally experienced it as... my progression in ToB tends to be very fast, slow enough to complete the romance properly("We have a child!"), but too fast such that the baby has no time to be born... My own skills have denied me from seeing my character's own child! ARRGGGHHHH!!!! The irony!
