I have completed the temple of Amaunator and found a reference somewhere from a guy mentioning that he had hidden some treasure south of the temple. Since I couldn't find it I used the TAB key to light up all grab-able (is that English?) items and indeed between a group of rocks I saw a light blue square light up. However, moving the pointer over it produced no results, i.e. no grabbing hand apeared to pick up anything. Am I missing somehing here?

SPOILER!!!!!

I believe that is part of the Ranger Stronghold quest. After finsihing the Umar Hills quest and killing the shade lord, you are requested by a spirit(?) to help save the trees. If you travel down to the bottom middle you will find a party. The leader says he is looking for some family treasure. If you then travel tot he right a bit you will find some skeletons and there should be treasure in the rocks...

I do believe this is Ranger specific..

</font>
Thanks Tanoch, I knew there had to be a reason for this strange situation. However, since I ain't got no ranger in my party I guess I won't be doing that quest, unless I park one of my characters to make (temporary) room for a ranger.

It has to be your PC, it's part of the ranger stronghold quest

I don't understand what you mean, Sir Morguerat.
I'm playing a multiplayer game with 3 created pc's and 3 npc's:

Grindar: Paladin LG HM
Galiana: Cleric LG HF
Rowena: Mage-Thief NG HF
&
Yoshimo, Jaheira and Aerie.

I suppose I would have to park/dump one of the npc's and replace him/her with a Ranger or am I wrong in this?

Even at multiplayer character creation, you have to choose a main PC. Basically, he/she is the one with the biggest tick, or the first slot.

If your main PC is not a Ranger, then you cannot do the Ranger Stronghold Quest.

</font>
I am playing a single player muilt game. I have to PCs, a Male Paladin and a Skald. Becuase the Paladin was created as the first slot, The top left slot on the char arbitration screen, he is Numero Uno. So I therefore get the Radiant Heart Stronghold. If my skald had been created int he #1 spot, then it would be the Bard/Play stronghold.

The point is, only one PC can be the main person.

Okay, now I understand. Previous time I wplayed the game I never did these stronghold quests. I thought you had to have a character of the required class only, not that this had to be your main character.
Thanks for explaining guys.
