Plot spoiler:
. . . . . . . . . . . . .On another board there has been some discussion of what is being depicted in the intro movie, which appears to be set atop the Iron Throne headquarters. Someone noted that the section of gate which Sarevok crashes his victim through is shown as repaired in the game. Some therefore feel that the scene depicts one of your half-brother Bhaalspawn. I had always thought that it was a depiction of a generic protagonist, sort of an 'every-player', and the scene is just there to give you a flavor of what the game broadly has in store for you. But the more I think about it, maybe these folks are right, given the repaired gate. The guy does say "Wait! There are others... I'll show you!" or something close to that. Although it means that Sarevok probably has a near full time job tracking down and killing his fellow Bhaalspawn. Anyway, your thoughts about this? (Do we all have too much time on our hands or what, lol?) Oh--and I do realize that the protagonist has many, many kin. You get an idea in the ending movie of just how many. Not to mention Sarevok's complete giveaway line: "I will be the LAST! You will go first... (muhuhahaha)".

I never got to the finishing movie due to a bug in the game. Dag nab it. I wish I could've seen that idea how many Baalspawn there would be.

Ah, I guess that post is kinda not necessary, and now that I'm thinking on it, it really isn't nice to give spoilers about an expansion of the sequel in the forum of the first part. OK, I'll delete the post. EDIT: Done. [ 03-03-2002: Message edited by: J'aran ]</p> |

I thought it was a great intro, and its only appropriate they have it fixed after how long? Anyway it was really good from the point of who is this nutjob.
