this probably has been done before; but hey, who cares! whats everyone's absolutly FAVOURITE weapon/weapon class?
just curious, no other reason.

I had a fighter dual weilding (with a grand mastery in both) Hindo's hand and Anguedyval, the long sword. He was sooo damn speedy and dealt out one hell of a lot of damage VERY quickly. I replaced Hindo's hand with Spectral brand when I fought things that needed +5 weapons.
All were improved by Cespenar.

Undead hunter with Holy Avenger

Crom Fayer and Flail of Ages+5

A plain ranger, duel wielding longsword and shortsword.

Flail of Ages +5

Been there done that Cavalier with Holy Avenger.

Skald with Celestial Fury or Dragon's Bane Halberd

Jahiera Dual weilding Belm and Rashad's Talon

Uummm.....a crippled Solo Beast Master using the Club of Detonation.

yeah, right.

Seriously, I've always liked Long Swords, Axes & Flails, and then Katanas. You can get a couple decent Long Swords early in SoA, and then two EXCELLENT ones in ToB. Axe is good for a Tank or any other character--Throwing Axes are great. I don't think I'd every be without my trusty Flail of the Ages, and there are some sweet Katanas too. Seriously, anything with a +4 or +5 enchantment is kickass, as long as the other enchantments on it are good. (Who the HELL thought up that damn Club of Detonation?)

P.S. Tanoch, there's a better Scimitar for Jaheira in Chapter 5--IF you search every building.

i would say my personal favorite would have to be crom faeyr. i love katanas however, so celestial fury is great. being an elf though, i love the trusty longsword, thus my favorite weapon would be my custom blades, heh. in the game though, its crom faeyr.

Favourite class: Longbow
Favourite weapon: plain, regular, unenchanted normal composite longbow +nothing.
