ok here is somthing that has never happened to me before, as soon as i had entered saradush i went straight to the tavern, I got inside spoke to the guards harasing the barmaid and then attacked them, as soon as the last one died a familier sight happened, viekang was struck by lightning like in SOA and teleported off here is what he said:

Wh-what? It......Its working! Im staring to feel the fear! That means I'll teleport away! Oh, thank you! thank you!

has this ever happened to any one else?, I have played through the game uncountable times and this has never happened to me before and i haven't done anything different this time as far as i know, so what causes it, is it random? ok thats, it please reply and let me know if you have had this happen to you before

Cast a Fear spell on him. You must have casted some area of effect fear spell which hit him as well.

nope I was a solo barbarian close combat only, must have been a bug

One last try before I call it a bug. Did you use <font color="red">War Cry</font>? It is a fear-based special ability for warrior-type characters.

I dont have warcry I tend to build up on my Greater whirlwinds before i get any of the other abilities.

So who is this guy? I jsut saw him in SOA and he teleported out after saying something about bhaal spawn...

He is another Bhaalspawn who when feels fear randomly teleports to another location.
You meet him for the first time in the tavern in Trademeet and you see him again in Saradush.

Does anyone know if he's in the tavern if you don't have TOB?

He's in the Trademeet Tavern even if you only have SoA.

I'm clutching at straws here, but did you maybe accidentally hit Viekang with the Rod of Terror?
