Please help me with the following questions about the mage pools that have been remained unsolved for the past few days in my mind.

1. When your custom character learned some of the spells from the mage pools, where does the spells appear???(still haven't finish SOA yet)

2. Do you have to memorize the new spells in order to cast it?

3. How many spells exactly are we allowed to learn before reaching lvl 31?

4. Additional question: For the thief pool "Use any Item", does it really allow your thief to use ANY item???Like wear killer armors and wield a two-handed sword?? Or is it for a certain amount of time only?

1)they appear on your 9th level spell page

2)yes

3)mages limit is decided by your int score, a sorc caps at 5 per level (with the high level mage pool powers not counting to that limit)

4)yes you can use *any* item, you can make a theif wearing shruppuks plate while using the holy avenger while blasting people with the bard-harps, then blasting them with a fireball out of the staff of the magi

The high-end Mage spells (the spells learned through HLAs) will only become open to you when you are able to cast 9th-level spells. This is a little protective measure, so that you don't choose, say, Improved Alacrity, and then get mad at the game because you can't cast it.

Use Any Item is almost true. You will still be unable to use items that require a certain stat (Requires: 16 STR) if your stats aren't up to par. You are also barred from most equipment designed for a specific NPC (e.g., Valygar's katana). And while Thieves with UAI can indeed swing the Carsomyr, that does NOT mean they will be able to put proficiency points into 2-Handed Swords.

More importantly, theives can only backstab (which is the most used theif ability in my experience) with weaponry they could use originaly.
