umm its probably the lamest question ever asked in and forum ever made in the history of man kind... but i have never know how to set traps, and im up to TOB.
and what does the bow string of GOND do when added to a bow?? |
Well to set traps you use the special abilities button. You click on the trap you want to set and then set the trap.Just remember that it can't be done while in the line of sight of an enemy.
As for the bowstring of Gond you can add it to firetooth,Tarlash or Darkfire bow to upgrade them to +5.I would recomend firetooth |
yeah i no to go to the quick items, but when u clik set trap--- i would suppose u clik on the ground wherever...
but then what, how big is the trap, and how is it sprung?? |
Only a theives can set traps (and high level bards). You click on the special abilities button, near the bottom right corner of the screen, the one with the star shape on it. Then you'll be shown one or more trap symbols with numbers next to them. The numbers mean how many traps you can set for that day. Click on the trap symbol, then click on the spot where you want to put the trap. The trap will be sprung when any hostile character/creature steps on it. Your group can walk over the trap as many times as they like and they will not spring it.
There is a chance you can set a trap off and damage yourself when you are setting it. The Bowstring of Gond can be used to upgrade several different bows you can collect or buy in ToB. In my current game I used it to upgrade Firetooth, the magic crossbow you can buy from the people standing on the roof of Watchers Keep. It does not upgrade the Gesen Bow from SoA. I was a little dissapointed about that. [ 04-20-2002, 02:40 AM: Message edited by: Gareth B ] |
