Quick question:
Does TOB extend/develop the main story line or does it consist of mainly side quests (a la TotSC)???

yes it primarily works on the main story line

Side quests are very rare in ToB, if you don't count Watchers Keep as a side quest.

Its fair to say TOB has a very linear story line carrying on from where TOTSC finished. Watchers Keep is the only optional quest outside of this (which can also be accessed via TOTSC once TOB has been installed, if desired).

I am assuming that that should read SoA and not TotSC?????????

whaaaat? SoA has millions of sidequests, you can spend months of game time doing just them without advancing in the primary quest at all [img]smile.gif[/img]

in ToB, its pretty much go where melissan tells you
