Two questions:
1) After I got my soul back from Irenicus, I never regained my bhallspawn powers back (that I acquired in dreams from BG1). Is this normal? 2) Will the females still bicker over who "gets" your character if you have the concurrent romances patch installed? |

Please tell me where to download this patch. Thanks for bringing this up. |
Yeah, the permanent loss of the Bhaalspawn powers annoyed me too: I had a Neutral Good Assassin->Fighter, and was REALLY looking foreward to getting my Draw Upon Holy Might back. (25 STR and 25 DEX do horrific things for one's Backstab) So I kept hoping I'd get them back along with my soul, but sadly, no dice. But you know, the stuff I gained from the Tears of Bhaal made up for it.
Slayer Change? Who the hell cares about that? |
Nicely put SixOfSpades, like yourself, I never used slayer change in serious gameplay for BGII. I only change in fun times, and see my Kensai-Mage wacking through my own party, killing my loving wife-Aeire, slaughtering my sister-Imoen...and much more horrindous then that...ROFL !!!
Anyway, I was crazy back then, ignore me... And what is concurrent romance nyway?? Somebody please explain? Thankyou... |
The concurrent romances patch being referred to is most likely the one found on the Baldurdash Home Page -- there are versions available for both SOA and TOB.
I believe this link should work: Baldurdash Home Page |
Gammit,
there have been reports that installing the concurrent romance patch into TOB can result in extremely annoying, jerky movement for Jaheira, Aerie and Viconia when they are in the party. Kez |

Thank you all for the replies. I feel enlightened. As far as concurrent romances, for those who asked, basically it means having more than one romance at the same time (without having to ever "choose").
