So what path should my party take in the final WK battle with Demogorgon? I've actually done two options...1) I told the priest that Demo was dead, and he went in there like an idiot, and then the knight shade appeared and gave me a scroll to seal the place. 2) I sent the priest in there, but went in and killed Demo anyway.

Neither option gives any appreciable money or magic reward, so that's not a factor. I noticed that option 2 nets about 50k exp more per character than option 1. Helm likes option 1 better, for all the good that does me. Either way, the priest and his retinue die, so that's a good thing. By the way, did I mention I am a neutral/evil party? As far as Demo goes, in case 1, he is trapped in there for now, but possibly some schmuck wannabe hero 20 or 100 years from now could find a way in and release him. In case 2, he is banished back to the abyss, but can come back in 100 (or is it 1000?) years. By then there might be another hero to deal with him, or I might be a god so I can send my avatar to wipe him out again.

What do you think about this? (AND, have I been playing this silly game WAY too long?)

f**k helm kill the demigorgon its quite fun watching him limp over the room and suck on u with his suckers...i did it on easy so i wudnt know, try and make a deal w/ it if ur evil..

You dont get any items for killing ugly baboon head because the designers thought he would challenge people and therefore didnt want people feeling they just HAD to beat him to get the new toy. only 50k exp.

error found,
when you kill demogorgon
each member gets 100k exp apiece then when you tell the helm guys that you killed them your party gets another 50k apiece and you can get i think an extra 10k gp from them as well so demo is worth 150k a player and gold so he is well worth the fight, kinda like getting the star on the deck of many things.(those that dont know what the star does is gives the party a combined 1mill exp)

Demons have a weakness for finger of death, at least they did die very quick when I tried to slaughter them (that includes Demon-gorgon)
