Help with the pit fiend room in Watcher's Keep!

As soon as I step thro' the portal I lose 3 or 4 people to Panic - Chaotic Commands/Protection From Evil/Magic Resistance etc before going through makes no difference at all. Have I left some hardware somewhere which protects from panic!

If you have mazzy in your party, she has protection from fear, or envoke heroism, this protects from panic and fear. But if not, hmm maybe a spell?? I wouldnt know cause i have mazzy and i use her special skill for the protection.

<font color = "lightgreen">You could try using potions of clarity, otherwise simply hit the pit fiends hard and fast. Minsc with a girdle of giant strength, two weapons, and whirlwind attack is almost comical.</font>
