Ok, this round my aim shall be to make my Cavelier as strong as humanly possible.I just have to decide what weapons I shall use for it. Shall I beat the crap out of my enemy's using Carsomyr, or perhaps dual wield the Purifier with some other nifty weapon?
How do I do the most damage? Any advice is welcome.

There is no one killer weapon combo, I used a huge variety of weapons.

Assuming that you soloing.

Bastard Sword: Purifier +5, Foebane +5
Axe: Adzuredge +3( upgrade to K'loragath +4)
Warhammer: Crom Faeyr +5
Two-Handed Sword: Carsomyr +5
Flails: Flail of Ages +5
Two-Handed Weapon Style **
Sword and Shield Style **

Leftover 1 *, I put it in Mace.

If you partying however, then dual-wield Purifier and Foebane. ;) Or just use Carsomyr.

A hard choice, what are the statts of Foebane and where can it be found?

I believe that you would get the Casomyr +6 in ToB.

You have to choose between upgrading the purifier or Carsomyr.

Personally, i combined carsomyr with the eye of tyr and found that to be the best choice. You dispel magic with every hit, +6 against chaotic evil opponents, dispel magic three times per day, 50% magic resistance. Alsong with 2 weapon slots in the two handed catagory, this makes for a very powerful weapon. Personaly i also added a belt of stone giant strength which set his strength to 20, now he kicks everyones ass.

Have you ever tried dualwielding Foebane and Purifier +5? More attacks than holy avenger. Also handy if you happen to have 2 paladins running around (or a fighter/thief to make good use of Use Any Item and the *).

Never make casomyr +6 over having purifier +5. Purifier gets more bonuses in the upgrade. Casomyrs are bearly discernable.

I would go with purifier and foabane, ther quicker same or more power together no contest
